Prima Moda SA is among leaders on the premium shoe store market in Poland. Its class is timeless, but in vogue with all that happens in the world fashion. Prima Moda owns a good 40 outlets in prestigious shopping malls across Poland.
We proposed the Community Magento platform to be the main sales system seeing that it would best fit e-commerce needs within the fashion branch, or that it would help to tailor mono-brand solutions, to be exact.
The Magento system was integrated with the Wordpress blogging system so that frequent content writing, updating and management would be made simple (the blogging section).
Selected additionally for rendering investment relation services was the CMS Typo3 system. An advanced tool for content management in websites, Typo3 does a great job in extensive www services.
The need was also to manage the brand efficiently – we thought of using our own solution that allows for efficient brand management in the e-commerce service depending on a specific promotional activity or photo shoot.
Within our solution, any change in the home page design is possible as it can be adapted to a given promotional activity; virtually no limitations occur.
Prototyping began at drafting all the most important subpages of the shopping process. In order to best understand shopping behaviours in clients we decided to employ the participant observation method. We arranged for our UX manager to visit a number of outlets and observe the customers shop, and find out about obstacles they encounter during the shopping.
The next stage consisted in preparing prototypes and have them show the functional angle of the shopping process in the e-shop.
The PRIMAMODA brand takes the best of Italian design; prompted by the desire to show this, we used Italian design as well. We found inspiration in Italian fashion houses and at distinguished designers, all of whom we believed to pass their value and message best in their premium own brands.
Put together were a good practice list and moodboard showing inspiring design solutions; these were critical for rendering the interface design and the e-shop soul.
